Nicole LeBlanc is a partner at Woven Capital, based in Tokyo. She focuses on mobility, sustainability, and smart city investments and is a voting member of Woven Capital’s investment committee. Nicole has led the firm’s investments in Corvus Energy, Intuition Robotics, and WeaveGrid, and serves on several boards.

Previously, Nicole was a partner at 2150, a venture capital firm that invests in technology companies seeking to sustainably reimagine and reshape the urban environment. Nicole also served as the director of Investments for Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs, an urban innovation company that is setting ambitious goals with developers and cities to build more sustainable, innovative, and equitable places around the world. She led the corporate venture capital strategy focused on urban tech, as well as supporting the development of Quayside, a 12-acre site in Toronto that had hoped to be a global hub for urban development.

Before joining Sidewalk, she was a director with BDC Capital and New Brunswick Innovation Foundation, investing and managing a portfolio of 150+ seed-stage startups. Nicole is also a founder and investor in Sandpiper.vc, a women-led venture fund based in Atlantic Canada that aims to support women as both founders and investors.

Nicole began her career as a CPA. She stays active in the community through board, advisory, and mentorship roles with numerous charities, tech accelerators, and venture funds.
