Marketing Partner
Daniel Yoo serves as the Marketing Partner at Woven Capital, Toyota's venture capital investment fund dedicated to growth-stage innovations transforming the movement of people, products, and information. He is responsible for shaping the fund's external and internal stakeholder engagements, marketing and communication programs.
Prior to Woven Capital, Daniel served as a Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications at the Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center. There he built a strong reputation for innovative marketing and communication programs that launched the company’s first open platform efforts in Digital Health, IoT and mobility. He also served as the executive communications lead for the Corporate President and Chief Strategy Officer of Samsung Electronics, with a focus on corporate venture capital investments, M&A, and open innovation efforts.
Earlier in his career, Daniel served as head of communications for Marvell Technology and consulted for household brands such as HP, Microsoft, Philips, and Sony at some of the largest PR agencies in the world, including Edelman, Porter Novelli, and Ruder Finn. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in communications from Boston University and completed graduate work in Digital Marketing at the Harvard Business School.
